Colourful shoes to beat drab dark nights

I'm a huge fan of colour. To me, heels have always been a great way of livening up a drab outfit. Sure, the Little Black Dress is a statement piece every woman should have in her capsule wardrobe for when you need to feel like Audrey Hepburn blah blah blah. But it's so dull. Especially in winter, when you're fighting for colour in everything and everyone's in grey, brown or black.

So we're saying NO to muted colours and deep shades. We've put together a selection of heels that can be paired with the dullest of dresses this party season to create an outfit worthy of stop and stares from that bitchy coworker, or strangers on the street. What do you think of our choices?

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Melissa shoes so number three is my favourite. I bought my first pair the other week - just a black shoe with statement red bow over the toes - and honestly, they're so comfy and so stylish. The kind of heel I feel confident wearing. Also the non-slip rubber means no treacherous tumbles on the ice.

So what will you be sporting over the coming weeks? Are you all about statement shoes, or will your dress steal attention from your toes? Let us know your favourite shoes below!
